Confirmed from Winchester Traveling Trail's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
What runners say about Winchester Traveling Trail
“It’s so beautiful and well kept!”
“Absolutely BEAUTIFUL walking trail providing outdoor access to so many residents in Winchester/Clark County.”
I LOVE the Winchester Traveling Trail! It’s like a piece of paradise in the city. It’s the best for clearing my mind, getting exercise and finding nature. I especially love the grass trail with helps me connect to nature. I have been walking there several times a week since it opened.
It's a beautiful place to take a walk. It's close enough to town to be easily accessible but it feels like you are far away when you are walking it. It's .9 miles for one loop. And it's never crowded and you can bring your dogs.
Nice trail, it would be awesome if it were paved haha. Other than that, nice spot right in the middle of Winchester.
This place is an emerald gem in the heart of kentucky. For a state known for its senic trails, this one takes the cake! A 30 minute walk if you take it slow, and dog friendly also! 10/10 I reccomend that everyone in winchester come here at least once a week as a way to clear your mind.
