Confirmed from Winfield Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Neighborhood park with a playground and a dock for kayaks and boats.
What runners say about Winfield Park
“Very nice, clean and quiet neighborhood park, great for kids and parents or anyone that wants a relaxing place to sit on a bench or swing overlooking the water on the canal.”

There is a little shade and the ground is sand. No bathroom but there's a water fountain. Swings and a climb structure. There's a fence but no gate so not great for runners.
I love this quiet park that's right next to the water. It is small but most of the time I find it empty or just a few kids playing so it's great for taking my 1 year old. All she does is running around and touching everything so this is a prefect park for me!
Nice park. Not much here but it is clean and quiet. Only half of a basketball court for those looking for a full court game. More than enough space for kids to run around. And benches around the canal are a nice touch.

“The only thing I have an issue with is, there are no bathrooms.”
“Parking is very small so if alot of people are parked their for the boat ramp it's like impossible to park.”

The practical stuff
- AccessDawn to dusk — the gates close, so do not plan a run that finishes after dark
- DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
- ShadeNot reported. Assume some of it is exposed and carry water in summer.
- At the trailheadparking, restrooms, water — reported by runners
