Confirmed from Tall Cypress Natural Area's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

“Beautiful, peaceful, bathroom access, landscape variety, AND small creatures!”

This park is an absolute hidden gem! I only found it by accident a few years ago during the pandemic and I have been back a few times with family and they all enjoyed it. It’s not visible by the main road, Sample but secluded off to the side on a smaller road.

Nice place to walk through and see some natural scenery. Boardwalks are always clean and safe. It is all boardwalk walking, which is nice, but it would be best if they somehow offered a set of stairs down onto the actual ground. Very peaceful and enjoyable! Surprising to find this in Coral Springs!

This was my first visit to this easy to find natural area. Beautiful, peaceful, bathroom access, landscape variety, AND small creatures! It has an elevated boardwalk, so there's no getting close up in nature, still worth the visit!!! Oh, and free!

★★★★★ — Roshawn , Jan 2020

Serene spot for a quiet walk. Lush and green, with various types of plants and trees. Clean bathrooms, and free parking. Admission is free as well. It's a small reserve, but worth the visit if you enjoy nature.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.

🪵 Boardwalk 13 mentions

“Here's a photo of a Ruby-throated Hummingbird, Brown Thrasher, Cardinal, Painted bunting, Worm-eating Vireo, Yellow-billed Cuckoo, Yellow throated Vireo taken from the boardwalk.”
