The Wissahickon Trail at Ridge Avenue is where Philly’s wild side comes to life! Just minutes from the city’s hustle, this trail drops you into a world of towering trees, rocky paths, and the soothing rush of Wissahickon Creek.
Parked at the train station and walked just a short block to the trail. It’s an easy hike, though there are plenty of branching paths along the way. I spotted a few deer in the woods—harmless, but I still ended up running! The area is beautiful in the fall and perfect for photos.
I love the waterfall, the trails and just the sight of nature at its best. Clean air too.
