Confirmed from Woods Hollow Nature Preserve's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Low-key natural area with a large network of forested trails & a small pond with a fishing pier.
What runners say about Woods Hollow Nature Preserve
“The lake is beautiful, we're definitely going to visit again with fishing poles.”
“My family had a good time yesterday on these nice, quiet walking trails.”
“It's an easy hike for most with only a couple of short climbs.”
Great little trail system for all ages. Not very challenging with terrain or elevation but fantastic hike. Only drawback is very poorly marked but almost impossible to get lost , just might pass the same tree a few times 😁
Been here many times but whenever I try to go on the green trail I always get turned around...maybe it's just me but I feel like it needs to be better marked. Lots of ticks depending on the time of year. Lots of people with their dogs off leash, which I dont mind but I know some people do.
The trail is not long and it is really suitable for an afternoon walk. The pond is tranquil and one can fishing in the summer. I will try to get here at summer, it would be nice a place.
A nice, small network of trails with a little bit of elevation gain, but not enough to make much of a difference between these trails and completely flat trails.
