Confirmed from Worlds End State Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

Comprehensive review: Worlds End State Park has a "we got away from it all" feeling. This is a great place to camp if you want some peaceful time in a beautiful setting. There's no lake or pool but instead what I would call a swimming hole formed by a dam on the Loyalsock Creek.

This park is gorgeous! We drove to the top to see the overlook and the rock garden, then hiked down to the creek and back up again. The trails were well maintained and it was a lot of fun to walk through the rock formations along the way.

Stopped by the visitor center first. They have bathrooms inside and a water filling station! Super friendly person working. A beautiful visitor center with lots of information and would be a good place for a school field trip. Very helpful info, great trails, clearly marked and well maintained.

Visited Worlds End State Park while passing through Pennsylvania in a Mini-T Campervan and was absolutely impressed. The park is stunning—clean, well-kept, and beautifully maintained. Campsites are on the smaller side, which makes them ideal for compact campervans like the Mini-T, smaller RVs, or tents.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.
