Confirmed from Yanticaw Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Built in 1911, this park offers baseball fields & bocce courts, plus walking paths & a playground.
What runners say about Yanticaw Park
“It is clean and the flowing stream adds a unique aspect of this local park.”
“This is an outstanding athletic center with state of the art facilities, but it's also a beautiful green place that's great for walking.”
“beautiful neighborhood and not crowded place.”
Beautiful, peaceful and quiet. This park is wheelchair accessible. Pet friendly. Portable toilets on site. I highly recommend this park! This location has a soccer field as well as a baseball field. Walking path is clean!
Pretty park. I like that the trees shade most of the walking path. Enjoyed walking with my husband and pup. Saw lots of squirrels, chipmunks, and Canadian Geese. Plenty of benches to sit and have a picnic.
Yanticaw Park is the largest and by far, the most athletically inclined of what I like to refer as the "String of Six Parks" in Nutley (north to south: Kingsland, Memorial 3, 2, and 1, Yanticaw, and Booth).
This is an outstanding athletic center with state of the art facilities, but it's also a beautiful green place that's great for walking. And it's nestled smack dab in the middle of a beautiful green neighborhood as well!
