Confirmed from Memorial Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Relaxing green space featuring a playground, strolling paths and streams plus cherry trees.

This park is a Gem in Nutley! Memorial Park is a long & narrow park along Third River. Great park for a walk or picnic, with water views. Connected to Booth Park in the South & Kingsland Park in the North.
A beautiful and relaxing place for a walk. There is also a small playground for children. It is especially pretty now with the cherry trees blooming!🌸
I come to Memorial Park all the time. Even though I’m from Newark and not a local, I’ve always felt that the people in Nutley have a different — more laid-back and positive — attitude.
Such a beautiful quaint park. Off of the nain highway and very family directed. There's a kids area, a biking trail and a few workout tools. Idea for a little peace and quiet on a great weekend walk.

The practical stuff
- AccessOpen 24 hours — no gate to beat, so a 5am or a 10pm run both work
- DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
- ShadeNot reported. Assume some of it is exposed and carry water in summer.
- At the trailheadrestrooms, water — reported by runners
- DogsWelcome, per reviewers. Leash rules vary by park — the trailhead sign is the authority.
