Great park to exercise and walk your dog. It has a playground with a small sandbox. No water feature. It has public restrooms in the near vicinity of the playground. It gets pretty busy during weekends. During the week days not so much.
Small parking lot, miss the turn an you have to drive a bit to get back to it. It can be shady for most parts but the smaller area is full sun most the day. There is a sand pit an wood chucks on the ground. Bathrooms and a walking trail. There is also always questionable people oddly parked in the parking lot.
On a warm, weekday summer afternoon the park and playground looks nice as a basic neighborhood outdoor spot. Two play structures for big and little kids, both with wood chips, and a small sand play area. Nearby is a circular track or path with grass in middle for ball play. Small parking area. Would visit again.
I would have given it 5 stars had they not removed the big kid swings. Lots of play options for both little & big kids, plus it was in the SHADE, when we visited, so not too hot to play. My kids range in age from 11yrs, down to 1yr & they all had fun!
