Confirmed from Green Mountain's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

🪧 well-marked 2 mentions

“The Southern end of the trail is not well marked.”

A nice walk thru the woods. The tin mine is pretty cool , nice views from the top. Trail in great shape, not too busy. Respectful dog owners.

★★★★★ — Amy , Sep 2025

Awesome hike! The trails are well maintained and clean, aside from the dog poop bags near the trailhead. Expect around a 2 1/2 hour hike to and from the trailhead, with an 1,000ft elevation gain. There are a few vistas along the way where you can stop and take in the view!

★★★★★ — Shroomysean , Mar 2024

Took the dog for a short 9 mile walk yesterday, trails were nice not many people out which we like, trails cross each other many times while hiking wildcat trail so be sure you follow signs as to keep staying on wildcat trail, parking area was big enough for many cars, discovery or America the beautiful pass required

★★★★★ — Carlson , Jan 2019

New to hiking and trails this seems to be well worth the time and effort. It has great views and not very difficult. Probably could be a little better marked. But again I am newer to trails. Coming from Ohio I am motivated for more of this.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.

🏞️ Scenic views 17 mentions

“A nice little trail away from the city with incredible views of the surrounding waterways and the Seattle skyline.”
