Confirmed from Zemmer Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

What runners say about Zemmer Park

Pulled from public reviews of this trail (183 of them) — the things people bring up again and again, in their own words. Nothing here is written by us.

“Awesome experience, clean park and good place for geocaching, fishing , hiking or relaxing.”

🏞️ beautiful scenery 6 mentions

“Weekends and holidays are packed but during the week me and my wife enjoy the beautiful seen!”

🌾 quiet & peaceful 4 mentions

“Some days are quiet and good for fishing and the hotter days turn into a fun party”

This is lovely, quiet little park. Very lightly trafficked, especially off season. There are a number of small, interlinking paths. All trails are unmarked, some are easy to lose but it's not a very big area, and all the trails are loops so you're unlikely to get lost. Terrain is easy enough for children

Very gorgeous and clean. Only negative would have been that the porta potty was dang near to the brim lol. Not a pretty site. Luckily still don't have my full sense of smell and taste back from having the Vid back in November. Least they have a porta potty though 😁 If anything could always find a spot in the woods.

I didnt see much in the way of hiking trails except a short loop along the edge of the lake which was kinda nice. If youre a fan of water, couple different sandy areas along the bank that you can set chairs up at, stick your feet in the water and watch the boaters do their thing. There is a public access boat launch.

Its beautiful, not sure what to do there, may be fishing. We came up to what looked like a beach to swim at but no signs to indicate so idk - they dud have bathrooms there and hiking trails.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.

  • AccessPosted hours — posted hours below; park gates sometimes close earlier than the listing says
  • DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.

  • DogsWelcome, per reviewers. Leash rules vary by park — the trailhead sign is the authority.
