Confirmed from 8th Avenue Georgetown Community Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Lake featuring picnic areas, a children's playground, hiking trails, covered benches and BBQ grills.

The beach is gently sloping, making for an easy walk and great wading depth for children's play. Goose poop abounds!Walking trail is lovely--includes sun & shade over land and water. Water is kayakable, but folks rarely swim due to an excessive growth of submerged aquatic weeds.
Georgetown lake park. A complete park with a peaceful ambiance. Long Beach for swimming, kids playground, picnic area, trail, finishing, and even worthy for spending a good family time.
Perfect 1 mile paved walking trail around the water. Spotted a Bird of prey- American Eagle while walking the trail today.
One of our favorite places to go. Has a great paved trail to walk around the lake, and very well maintained and fun playground, and a beach area for swimming. My Husband and son also love taking the kayaks or canoe here for fishing.
