Confirmed from Acorn Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Grass and shady play area for kids, with swings and slides.
What runners say about Acorn Park
“Local well maintained park near Oak Grove elementary school.”
“There are plenty of great playing areas, trees with outstanding shade, and shade over the playground areas.”
Great experience here! Yes there is play equipment (swings, slides, jungle gym), but the kids spent most of their time going on "adventures" hiking up the hills, traversing the trails, and running around the fields. So much shade, picnic tables, and acorns to collect. Great park!
Local well maintained park near Oak Grove elementary school. Sweet people, community. Owners bring their dogs to walk around and the park offers baggies and a clean environment for kiddies to play!
Love that there are shaded areas over the playground so it doesn’t get too hot! And so much room for my 2 year old to run around and explore even beyond the playground.
Very fine small park. Equipment is rated for 5-12 year olds. Lots of sand to dig, and grassy areas to run on.

“There's not a ton of parking that's designated for the park.”

- ShadeRunners describe real tree cover here — it makes a summer afternoon workable
- At the trailheadparking, restrooms, water — reported by runners
- DogsWelcome, per reviewers. Leash rules vary by park — the trailhead sign is the authority.
