Confirmed from Ridgecrest Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Public park with shaded picnic area, tennis courts, a playground & general purpose fields.
What runners say about Ridgecrest Park
“Finally, the bathrooms are surprisingly clean considering that its a bathroom park.”
“A beautiful and peaceful park where kids can play and you can play some recreational sports.”
“The park is frequently used by parents for birthday parties because there are a few tables under the canopy.”
This is a very wonderful and cozy place with an amazing view. Here you can have fun with children, have a picnic, play soccer, basketball, there are also tennis courts. Free parking and convenient location. Always clean and tidy. Highly recommended for an evening walk.
Path to walk and run, 2 tennis courts, a basketball court, swings for kids, exercise areas (like parallel bars, push-up bars etc.) around the path, nice views. You'll find a lot of rabbits too. There is also parking and restrooms.
The group area is set away from the playground which is either a positive or a negative depending on your point of view. You can not watch your children on the playground while sitting at the picnic tables in the group area. However, you do have privacy away from the playground.
I have been coming to this park for over 4 years ever since I came here. There's a basketball court, tennis courts, a big playground, and a sidewalk that's about a quarter mile all around the park. On the sidewalk, there's outdoor gym equipment for exercise.
