Confirmed from Acuna Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Neighborhood green space with a playground, picnic tables & BBQs, plus restrooms, paths & benches.
What runners say about Acuna Park
“The park is small but its clean and there are benches facing the playground so you can watch your young ones closely.”
“It is very close to the library so it could be a good idea to check out a book and read under the shade of a tree as well!”
My husband and i take our 6yr. old granddaughter here when ever we get a chance. She loves the swings, slide and the rock climbing wall the most. The park is small but its clean and there are benches facing the playground so you can watch your young ones closely. Also picnic benches, tables, bbq pits and shade trees.
The park is great for a quick picnic or walk about but it’s nothing special. 4 starts because it’s always clean and well staffed. The city’s park and recreation department can be found there and the city’s civic center is just down the road. Great food choices can be found 5 minutes away.
Nice, shady park with benches, BBQ pits and play area for kids. Good place to come walk, sit and read a book, or even have a kids birthday party. Public restrooms available; lots of foot traffic in this area.
Nice little park has shade. Good place to take your kids and relax. Some snobby peeps but overall nice. Also right across the street is the Police 👮 department, so watch what you do. Enjoy your day!

- ShadeRunners describe real tree cover here — it makes a summer afternoon workable
- At the trailheadparking, restrooms, water — reported by runners
- DogsWelcome, per reviewers. Leash rules vary by park — the trailhead sign is the authority.
