Confirmed from Allardale Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Scenic area with rolling hills offering hiking & equestrian trails, a picnic shelter & indoor lodge.
What runners say about Allardale Park
“While the kitchen doesn't have all the amenities (No stove, just a warming oven and a microwave) it was spacious and clean.”
“The trails were beautiful and though the playground was not as big as others the slides and swings were unique and made it worth while.”
This is a beautiful park with wooded areas and some big fields. Some walking trails were paved with asphalt and some were not. All trails were clearly marked and very easy to walk on. There is an equestrian center there too with a lot of jumps that could be set up for horses, as well as a big barn and stalls.
This park is a hidden gem in Granger, Ohio. Features several walking and hiking trials that traverse through forests. A good place for walking dogs and even has a few spots for kids to play. There is a nice picnic area available for reservations as well as a hilltop lodge perfect for larger getogethers.
I love this little park. I came across it when I was trying to find something that was more of a relaxing walk rather than a hike. Also wanted to get away from the hustle and bustle of Hinckley and Whips Ledges. I came in through the West entrance. There are four different trails that criss cross through this park.
Beautiful park! A literal gem in the fall and a gorgeous hike. My only complaint would be being able to hear the highway. Love all the benches on the trails to sit and enjoy the nature!

“The trails were beautiful and though the playground was not as big as others the slides and swings were unique and made it worth while.”
“The inner loop is paved, the outer loop is a combination of dirt and grass.”
“The lodge at the top of the hill had been opened as the Medina county parts were having a celebration and there are all kinds of things to do up there and see.”
“Easy to avoid by sticking to the outer loop(blue, I think) Very pleasant and well maintained.”
“lots of benches and saw a grill/ playground/ restroom.”
“Took the paved trail which strollers would do fine on.”
