This is a great “flat lander” park. Crown Hill Lake is the centerpiece of a network of trails. The trail closest to the lake that loops around it is nicely paved, handicap accessible and offers several park benches where you can sit and soak in the beautiful surroundings. The park offers something for everyone.
Crown Hill Park is a hidden gem of open space on the Westside of the city. This park boasts easy walking/hiking/biking trails that lead around the lake. There are plenty of places to sit and contemplate while taking in the views. There is also a wildlife sanctuary located here that was dedicated on Earth Day in 1990.
This park has become one of our favorite places to walk. My pup didn't like other dogs, so the many different trails came in handy to have a peaceful walk alone. We loved seeing all of the wildlife here, thanks to the preserve. It is a bit loud near the roads, but the sunsets make up for it.
