Confirmed from Arkansas Arboretum's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

👟 good for all levels 2 mentions

“Fairly easy walk with inclines and paths that branch off that are not paved.”

My boyfriend and I were in the area and decided to stop here for a quick hike. They have things along the trail for you to learn about the different trees in the park. It was so beautiful and would definitely come back!

This is a nice little clean walking area, great for exercising or leisure. The trails are flat and mostly paved (some are gravel), with wood benches throughout.. This is strictly a woodland garden with many different species of trees; there are signs detailing their locations throughout Arkansas.

★★★★☆ — S , Apr 2023

A very nice, beautiful, easy, shaded, and paved walking trail. Dogs are welcome, but they must be on a leash. There are portable potties on site sometimes, but not always, and the drinking fountains are not turned on, so plan accordingly. There are some off-shoot dirt trails, which make it more of an adventure.

★★★★★ — Anna , May 2023

This is a great accessable walking trail, all paved and pretty level. For those with more energy than I have, there are spurs into the woods to experience several different areas. The scenery is great, even in the drizzling rain. Plenty of parking and easy to get to.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.
