Confirmed from Arlington Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Relaxed park featuring a pier for fishing and boardwalks through wetlands where alligators can be spotted.
What runners say about Arlington Park
“There are public restrooms, men's room is clean, women's were not.”
“Just beautiful - would love to bring my kayaks by and use the launch next time!”
“Nice quiet park very relaxing birds chirping away and the sound of insects made it feel like a remote place saw a few people fishing”
This is an absolutely beautiful park. Great place to take the dogs for a walk or even just to go walk by yourself. You can fish off the dock or even have a barbeque in one of the pavilions. The view of the bay is absolutely amazing. This is one of my favorite places in Mobile Alabama.
Well kept, tidy park. Great place for senior citizens to exercise. There is a pier where you can fish and/or enjoy the splendor of the Alabama gulf coast. The only reason it gets 4/5 stars is because there are no trails. The Gator is super cute, I named him Snappy.
Nice park for fishing. This park has restrooms & some type of ticket kiosk near the restrooms. I am not sure if the ticket kiosk is for the WAVE Mobile City Bus Transit or for fishing licenses. There are a few shaded pavilions, some with electric plug ins and water faucets.
It's a very nice, quiet and beautiful place to relax. Do some walking exercises. Read a book. There's plenty of benches along the sidewalk. A nice pier to fish from and if you are riding a wave runner, there is a small dock to park and walk up to the pier.

The practical stuff
- AccessPosted hours — posted hours below; park gates sometimes close earlier than the listing says
- SurfaceBoardwalk — flat and scenic, and slick when wet, so watch your footing
- DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
- ShadeNot reported. Assume some of it is exposed and carry water in summer.
- At the trailheadparking, restrooms — reported by runners
- DogsWelcome, per reviewers. Leash rules vary by park — the trailhead sign is the authority.
- Stroller / wheelchairReported as smooth and step-free enough for a running stroller or a chair.
