Confirmed from Atfalati Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Kid-friendly park featuring sports fields, a playground, a basketball court, a baseball field and tennis courts.
What runners say about Atfalati Park
“The trails are well maintained and gently meander through open grassy areas and groves of tall trees, making it perfect for leisurely walks, reflection, or walking a dog.”
Really nice park with big play structures. Has really nice big basketball courts and a big baseball field with small bleachers and big tennis courts. the trails are paved and super nice the bathroom was also open in February and clean. We were searching for glass hearts #sharethelovetualatin...
Went here with my son the other day and really enjoyed it. Has basketball courts, baseball field, two playgrounds for different ages, bathrooms, trail for walking, and huge open fields. I’m also Deaf and really enjoyed seeing the ASL addition they had!
Atfalati Park is an absolute gem. This park is stunning in every season, but there’s something especially beautiful about it in late winter, when the rolling green hills, mature trees, and winding paths feel peaceful and restorative rather than crowded.
The park was in immaculate shape and had tons of amenities for adults and kids, like a playground, walking trails, benches and tables, a baseball diamond, a tennis court, and bathrooms.

The practical stuff
- AccessOpen 24 hours — no gate to beat, so a 5am or a 10pm run both work
- SurfacePaved — asphalt or concrete. Fast and predictable, runnable year-round, and fine with a stroller
- DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
- ShadeNot reported. Assume some of it is exposed and carry water in summer.
- At the trailheadrestrooms, water — reported by runners
- DogsWelcome, per reviewers. Leash rules vary by park — the trailhead sign is the authority.
