Confirmed from Browns Ferry Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

“Nice short and easy trails!”

Such an amazing park. I go here at least once a week for a walk around the park. The forest and pond make for some of the best wildlife sightings you’ll get right outside of Portland. I love photographing the beautiful flowers and birds along the trail. Well kept path and bathrooms plus free parking.

Super cool Park. It has a kayak, canoe, raft and sup rental building and a dock going to the river. I am super excited to find this place as I was looking for glass hearts #sharethelovetualatin it has a super cool old barn and a couple of walk bridges that are cool.

Brown’s Ferry Park is a true gem in Tualatin’s amazing Parks and Recreation system. It offers direct access to the Tualatin River via its canoe ramp and dock. There are also multiple trails that wind through the area and follow alongside the river and pass by ponds. And it connects to the Tualatin River Greenway Trail.

Had a great time walking around the park and taking pictures. From the parking lot on the left you can enter with kayaks. It was fairly easy and the water was calm and clean. Beautiful river to enjoy.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.

The practical stuff

  • AccessPosted hours — posted hours below; park gates sometimes close earlier than the listing says
  • SurfacePaved — asphalt or concrete. Fast and predictable, runnable year-round, and fine with a stroller
  • DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
  • ShadeNot reported. Assume some of it is exposed and carry water in summer.
  • At the trailheadparking, restrooms — reported by runners
  • DogsWelcome, per reviewers. Leash rules vary by park — the trailhead sign is the authority.
