There's good spot for fishing. The trail are concrete which it is bike and wheelchair accessible. You can see people private backyard on the other side of the river. There will occasionally be people kayaking/canoeing. There is a lot of shade. Dog are Welcome.
Paved walking trail with river viewpoints and benches. I've walked it from Nyberg to Cook Park. It also passes through Tualatin Community Park & Durham park. There are a lot of native plants, though some sections are overrun with blackberry or ivy.
Travel back in time all the way to the Ice Age. The bike path along the river is a timeline marking years, centuries, millennia, epochs of Geological events. One end is the I-5 underpass.
Great trail with some amazing history about how the area was created from the ice age to today with lots of information about glaciers ice dams, volcanoes formation of the land and a broad timeline historical trip with information regarding the Oregon area. Exercise with education. Very impressed!
