this is an absolutely beautiful area, a big park with something for everyone of every age. even dogs! there are playgrounds for the kids, walking and biking paths, a river with a rope swing for the summers. I love the rose gardens that bloom during the right time of year.
Very awesome park, lots of area for hiking, great place for swimming in the summer along Mary's River (lots of rope swings too) with a cool play area for kids, a rose garden, a big old school train on display, etc. This park has it all!
Beautiful park right on the Mary's River with plenty of room to run around, take the kids/pets to play, or enjoy a BBQ/picnic with friends. Lots of shade in the summer keeps the area pretty cool and it's a nice quiet place to enjoy some nature.
We had a party at one of the pavilions, and it was nice enough and close to parking so getting to and from it wasn't an ordeal. The pavilion itself was also fairly wheelchair accessible.
