Off the beaten path, this is a peaceful lovely place to come enjoy the river. Gravel parking lot and port a potty available. Extensive rocky bank with plenty of space to roam. Dogs ok. Not accessible to wheelchairs or strollers. Most comfortable if you bring a camping chair to sit on.
Beautiful multi use park along the Willamette river with several entrances that are wheelchair and dog friendly. The northern end has a multiplex baseball park and a boatramp. The southern end has a disc golf course, soccer fields, a playground and picnic shelter.
We only hiked the main paved trail, but it was beautiful, clean, and mostly shaded. We took the dogs on a hike, just maybe 2 1/2 miles, tops, and it was really nice. There is a non-fenced dog park along the way.
So many great trails, some by the river. Most are wood chipped, but paved is an option also. Some areas offer leash free zones for dogs, bicycling on paved trails so families can enjoy with the children. Lots of trees, well maintained and the other side of it is Crystal Lake Sports complex.
