Confirmed from B.T. Collins Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

What runners say about B.T. Collins Park

Pulled from public reviews of this trail (225 of them) — the things people bring up again and again, in their own words. Nothing here is written by us.

well-maintained 4 mentions

“This is a very well kept 18 hole disc golf course.”

🪧 well-marked 2 mentions

“Well marked and everything.”

An interestingly shaped park. It doesn't have much in the way of "grass" but does have a fairly quiet play area. The play area for the kids is small so two families would make it feel packed, but it feels sort of secluded hidden up the hill and in the trees.

★★★★☆ — Samuel , Jul 2016

Nice park nestled in the Briggs Ranch development. There's street parking. You climb a little up a small hill to the two playground areas. The park also has two volleyball courts, barbecue grills, horseshoe toss set up, and a port-o-potty. Nice view of the surrounding hills.

★★★★★ — Sean , Dec 2016

Love this park and its many connecting trails. Used to come here several times a week when we lived in Folsom and my son was little. Great to come back periodically for a flash of nostalgia and to give my son perspective of how things appear over time. Great times

★★★★★ — Kenneth , May 2019

Great 9 hope disc golf course. Well marked and everything. It's not the biggest piece of land so they're all pretty short. But it's still one of my favorite places. Theres also a nice playground for kids and a paved walking path.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.
