On days when the dog wants to go out and play and he don't want to have to give him a bath or just to go and unwind from life. A walk through this forest is amazing. It's a great time!
This is a great park for hiking on trails through heavily wooded land. We only hiked about 2 hours so only covered a small fraction of the available trails. Make sure to check both sides of the bulletin board at the parking lot. On the back I found information on an the Maprika app to download.
We only walked a mile for our first visit, but we will be back. The map online for the park is useful. The park has nice signage with the trail names and the rescue points if needed. There is more varied topography than you might think given how flat the road is at the main parking lot. Nice. We will be back.
