Confirmed from Barbour Rock Trailhead's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

“A nice short easy hike through the woods ending with a view of the gorge”
This is just one of many great places on the coulton point side of the canyon. There's a really nice pavilion at the parking area. The handicap trail is wonderful in that it allows people with limited mobility to be able to see a great viewing area of the canyon.
What a beautiful area and spectacular views. I would recommend stopping here if you are in the are. We only made a quick stop here on our way to NY for a couples trip. We made the short hike to Barbour Rock and got to look down the gorge to the stream below. I bet this view is AMAZING in the fall.
Nice little hike or bike out to a beautiful outcropping to view the pa grand canyon. A little less than a mile if you take the graded path. Maybe half a mile if you take the hiking path
Great, easy hike with beautiful views of the canyon and gorge! Perfect rock outcrops for pictures and to unwind. The foliage was eye opening as well!
