Confirmed from Little Pine State Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
A 2,000+ acre park for activities such as hiking & sledding plus camping in tents, cottages & yurts.
What runners say about Little Pine State Park
“We had a really nice stay renting the yurts, they were both cozy and clean.”
“Lovely camp ground in beautiful country, nice hiking, quiet campground.”
“It's a nice place to disconnect and at exactly 10 it was so quiet you could here a squirrel fart and don't forget you flashlight and they have a bathroom for all 5 genders”
Loved the campground, was here late November so I pretty much had the place to myself for 2 days. Park staff was awesome, had a great conversation with one of the rangers who gave me a lot of local history and directed me to an awesome hike up Love Run Trail and back down Panther Run Trail.
We had a really nice stay renting the yurts, they were both cozy and clean. They do not have AC in them only heat so definitely pack a fan if you are staying during the summer months because it got ridiculously hot during the day.
Little Pine State Park consists of over 2100 acres that offers many activities for outdoors enthusiasts. Many camping sites are available as well as a few small cabins and yurt rentals. There are many hiking trails within the park and the Mid State Trail passes through the park as well.
Beautiful adventure, great hiking trails, lovely large campsites. Bathhouses with warm water, great fishing if that's what you enjoy. Bald eagle nesting area. Perfect serene spot.
