Confirmed from Barefoot Mail Man Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Area with trails for hiking and towers providing elevated views of the surroundings.
What runners say about Barefoot Mail Man Park
“This park offers a lot of information about nature and history as well as a beautiful entryway to the Eastern Pondhawk Hiking Trail.”
Beautiful nature trail with a high lookout and information on the Barefoot Mailman, Hypoluxo area and the natural pine scrub. Best to view the gopher tortoises in the mid morning when they come out to bask in the sun. Many of their den holes are located close to the trails.
Neat hiking trail with natural views as well as the location of the Barefoot Mailman statue. A tribute to the mailman in the 1880s who delivered mail from Palm Beach to Miami on foot through beach sands of the wild roadless south east Florida coast.
My fiancé and I frequent this park as we live close by. The walk path is maintained nicley. The two towers are great for cute picnics and for taking in the view. The only downside is side is that bikes and rollerblade are not permitted.
Interesting landscape with a walking trail and a couple of tall towers to overlook.
