Confirmed from Barnett Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Green space, featuring baseball fields along with playgrounds and trails.
What runners say about Barnett Park
“The lush green spaces and well-maintained facilities make it a perfect spot for a family outing or a leisurely stroll.”
Awesome trail, behind a neighborhood ,along water. Awesome to walk with your dog.
Great running trails, do need some upkeep with fallen trees. Safe about 6k round trip to lake.
Nice park with easy trails. Open, pretty forest with a scenic creek. Not too big, but the place has a good vibe.
Great place to walk But I was told that you don’t need to have your dog on a leash Cherokee Co has a mandatory leash law so I am guessing this is the rule of those that need the park only for themselves. Too. bad, I am older and my dog is a bit dog aggressive.
Trail conditions & character
“We have been here for almost 6 years and didn't know this beautiful little park was just around the corner with a creek for the kids and dog to splash in!”
