Confirmed from Boling Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

What runners say about Boling Park

Pulled from public reviews of this trail (542 of them) — the things people bring up again and again, in their own words. Nothing here is written by us.

well-maintained 3 mentions

“We went to the powwow here on Mother’s Day had a great time kids loved it nice clean park”

🏞️ beautiful scenery 6 mentions

“Beautiful river views and semi accessible areas to the river from the trails.”

🌾 quiet & peaceful 4 mentions

“Peaceful and beautiful along the river.”

Nice secluded park for short distance, no elevation walking or running. The trail portion is actually located past the furthest parking lot from the entrance (not where it is showing on the map) and is gravel-based for most of the way except the very back part.

Beautiful! A hidden gem....please be aware you have options to excercise on a track. If you choose to hike there is a clear sign that explains hiking after 10 am since there is an active hunting season at the moment in the area! For safety reasons it is recommended to wear bright colored clothes 🥰

Great trail. Kid friendly and even has a natural track that you can use if you don't feel like venturing onto the path. The boy scout bridges are beautiful and in very strategic spots. Can't wait to go back.

It's a great place to hike, if you don't know better, you're in the mountains!

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.

🏞️ Scenic views 8 mentions

“It is a bit difficult to see the river from the trail if there is any foliage, but there is one portion that has an open view near the beginning.”

The practical stuff

  • AccessPosted hours — posted hours below; park gates sometimes close earlier than the listing says
  • DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.

  • At the trailheadparking — reported by runners
  • DogsWelcome, per reviewers. Leash rules vary by park — the trailhead sign is the authority.
