Confirmed from Barrie Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

first real snowfall means sledding at Barrie Park. Well kept sled hill and park. The 49 steps adds a good workout, for all. Stay to the sides and avoid the mud puddles in the middle!

This is my favorite place to run to, and they have a great big hill that is fun to rub up if you want to get strides. Also there's stairs here if you want to walk up some stairs and they even have a little sign that shows how many flights of stairs you'd have to walk up to climb some high mountain.

We had a blast on the hill!!! Only recommendation.....watch out when you get to the bottom and don't stick around once your ride is competed. Move out of the wayyyyyyy!!!

★★★★★ — Dwayne , Feb 2021

Our Oak Park park facilities serve our community so well. My kids have had so many great times at this park. Whether it's soccer, walk through or enjoying "the hill," in the winter, I love this place.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.
