Beautiful park hugging the Mississippi River on one side, the historic Boat House Village on another and the marina at one end. The Boat House village is one of the only remaining "gin pole" installations still available, where some boat houses are over 100 years old and are registered on the historical society.
There is plenty of parking in this park. The park is well maintained and across the river. There are two picnic shelters and few benches. There is playground as well. There is nice little walk adjacent to river. It’s cool place to spend few hours.
Been coming here for many years. Just a wonderful park to walk around or fish, which is what I primarily do when I'm here with my family. I love watching the sunset here they look so pretty with the reflection in the water. I love the city of Red Wing so I'm always happy when I get to come here.
