Confirmed from Boyd Pond Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

What runners say about Boyd Pond Park

🌾 quiet & peaceful 5 mentions

“So nice and peaceful lake with woods being surrounding by woods.”

👟 good for all levels 3 mentions

“It's a great place to walk the dog, take an easy hike or ride a mountain bike.”

Criminally underused park. I love this place and have been going at least weekly lately. I mostly use the singletrack mountain bike trail, but this place has so much more: disc golf, fishing, softball/baseball, playground, kayaking, hiking, soccer, an observatory, and likely others I'm forgetting.

It's a nice park to walk in and there is disc golf on the other side of the park. Eerily, it's oddly devoid of natural life for a forested public park space except some good sized spiders. Some of the trails are pretty grown over, so wear appropriate clothing if you like the trail less traveled.

The place was beautiful. the trail was nice, if we had wanted to we could have grilled out and has a disc course.

★★★★★ — Darrell , Apr 2021

Nice park with great scenic views! They have nice hiking trails and a good little playground for the kid's! I've been fishing here a few times with some success. They have Bass, Brim & Catfish in the lake is smaller quantities.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.
