Confirmed from Brackett's Landing South's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Public park offering a beach, picnic areas, and scenic Puget Sound views, especially at sunset.
What runners say about Brackett's Landing South
“Beautiful sunsets, trains, boardwalks, the ferry, short walk to main street, restaurants, cafes - these are some of what I love about coming here.”
Great spot right off the Edmonds Ferry terminal. We mixed up the ferry departure time because only one boat was running and thus had a bit of time to kill with 6 young kids. This spot was perfect for the kids to run around and watch the boats and shops go by. Beautiful spot and plenty of grass to run around on.
The view of this place is spectacular, you have a sidewalk on the coast to walk and it is really friendly with the sand of the beach, it has many benches where you can sit and enjoy the sunset, it is a good place to share with friends!!
Brackett's Landing South The best views of the Puget Sound and Olympic Peninsula. Beautiful view of Edmonds Ferry System and Washington State Ferry boats. Amazing walking space decorated with natural landscape, artistically designed rocks, statues and monument.
Great place to walk along the shore, play in the sand or sit on a bench and look at the water. There is always some sort of activity—swimmers, divers, kids playing, and the ferry going in and out. It’s easy to hop on the ferry as a walk on and visit Kingston.
