Confirmed from Bradford Rail Trail's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
What runners say about Bradford Rail Trail
“Really nice to see a safe and well maintained area to have an evening stroll”
I love this walk! From the boardwalk over the bridge to the art walk rail trail! Great for walking, running or riding bikes and there's really cool art pieces you can check out along the way along with stellar views! Worth the trip if you're ever in the area.
I love walking the rail trail. Not as much garbage as around the city. It's a lot of the Merrimack so it's a very nice walk.
This trail was many years in the making and congrats to Haverhill for making it happen. I entered the boardwalk on the Merrimack St side of the river. It's wide and spacious with a long view of the waterway. There is plenty of parking on the Merrimack St side. Then I walked across the bridge to the Bradford Rail Trail.
Nice trail paved to walk with a pet or just to simply have a nice run or relax time while walking . There is parking at the Dunkin donuts next to it . The Merrimack river flows right next to it adding another good relaxing feature along your route . It will be extended in the near future all the way to the marina .
