Confirmed from Bridgeport Quarry Trailhead's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

🏞️ beautiful scenery 6 mentions

“Beautiful trail, enough room for hikers and bikers.”

🌾 quiet & peaceful 4 mentions

“This camping spot, while very close to the road, still feels secluded & quiet.”

Great trailhead to hike Towpath Trail. Easy enough to walk down to the water. Has a single night campsite available for hikers. Campsite isn't intended for people to drive up to.

★★★★★ — Brendan , Oct 2024

This camping spot, while very close to the road, still feels secluded & quiet. It is right by the Tuscarawas River & Canal Towpath Trail. Reservations are not required for the campsite, but there is a phone number to call posted on a rule board to call if you are spending the night.

★★★★★ — Michael , Jun 2022

Beautiful trail, enough room for hikers and bikers. I identified a ton of beautiful plants (and fungi) I haven't seen other places!

★★★★★ — Autumn , Sep 2022

Not long ago, on a bright Saturday morning I pulled into the parking lot, past a small group of people who were almost standing in the middle of the parking lot. They appeared to be a group of hikers, or 'swinging seniors'? A lady with a clip board was trying to take roll call.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.
