Confirmed from Brookshire trail's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
What runners say about Brookshire trail
Great place for a simple hike, we love to being our dog here when we go to hike.
Besides the trail next to a the creek, you can access a wonderful, uphill section that takes you through beautiful wooded areas up to a small meadow with nice views.
Google Map dotted green line seems to suggest it's unpaved, and older pics seem to indicate it once was, but now it's paved. Nice easy must-see bike ride extension to the core Boone Greenway. Ends abruptly in the middle of a meadow, but perhaps someday it will be extended?
