Confirmed from Browntown Wilderness Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Kid-friendly park with basketball and a boat ramp, as well as picnic tables and a public restroom.
What runners say about Browntown Wilderness Park
Has a short nature board walk trail. A playground with a large basketball court and s baseball diamond. Has clean restrooms, a pravillion for gathers that can be reserved. Boat ramp with floating dock less than a quarter mile on the St Mary's River.
Outstanding find and a wonderful trail. Was simply of the way they built walkway without disturbing the ground. Simple blownaway. Great job. There was gender reveal while we there that was awesome congratulations on the couple they are having a girl.
I came here with my lady and 2 boys to get outside for a while. The boys played on the playground while she and I played some basketball on the nearby court. I heard no complaints about the playground equipment. The trail through the trees is quite short.
Not too many people there. Nice lil playground for toddlers and the wilderness trail is a nice short walk and seeing your little one run and love the boardwalk setup through the woods is priceless!!
