Confirmed from Butler-Freeport Community Trail Winfield Road Trailhead's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Hiking area with picnic tables and a red caboose, plus kid-friendly hikes.

Very nice bike trail did about 30 miles of it altogether. There are some rest rooms that I saw along the trail.
It was gorgeous, clean with decent amount if folks, cycling, walking etc. The Cafe and bike shop was open and a good break. Loved it.
One of the best bike trails in Southwestern PA, due to its beauty, trail surface quality, shade and amenities (including excellent food and bike repair next to trail at Derailleur Cafe and Bike Shop). Also great for hiking, walking, running and dog-walking. Friendly users and lots of families.
Rode from Winfield trailhead up to the power lines. We enjoyed partial shade as well as some sunny areas. Most of the trail was well maintained except for around Jones Farm there was a lot of loose gravel from the recent rains we have had.
