We have not been able to confirm the surface, distance or shape of Butterfield Canyon Trailhead yet from its own listing, the park's website or runner reviews — so those cells stay blank rather than guess. What is below comes straight from the listing and from reviewers' own words. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
What runners say about Butterfield Canyon Trailhead
A fine bike park, you can easily spend a couple hours here. Large parking lot, some trails have some shade but bring plenty of water. Good mix of trails for different skill levels.
Loved these trails on my mountain bike. Nice easy climb on a scenic hillside. Apex was a great blue trail with some nice little tabletops and very flowy. The trails weren't too busy but still a popular place for locals.
Really cool bike trails with apex being a must do in the area. Apex is fast and fun.
