We checked out the new parking lot and found out there are two! One is for equestrians, equines and their trailers. Very big and has bathrooms too with trailhead accesses right there. We appreciate all the great planning and work all who made this happen. Happy trails! Remember to leave no trace principles.
It's great! Wide, paved road; large gravel parking lot; restrooms; etc. As of 05/04/26, the city officials are locking the gates early at night without checking for cars in the upper parking lot—plan accordingly.
