Canarsie Park is the true essence of a nature oasis right next to civilization... well for me that is... just the ambiance of the green forestry is enough for me to feel I am in the Amazon Forest. Love it... nice place for picnic or just a place for the kids to run and play... Place is kept clean and trimmed...
Spacious great for family 👪 and kids to run and play. Being built up for other things as well can't wait to see what. Close enough to places for food too Great time for family and friends
The park is large and has different trails to be explored. They have a couple of play areas for kids of all ages. There are basketball courts, cricket areas, baseball fields, soccer field, and a skateboard, roller blading space. There are public bathrooms that are cleaned. The park does get crowded quickly.
Our go-to park for walking our two big dogs from home in East Flatbush, just 15 minutes away. It is not crowded, the paths are well cared for, and there are options for longer or shorter walks depending on how energetic the pooches are.
