We have not been able to confirm the surface, distance or shape of Cannonsburgh Trailhead yet from its own listing, the park's website or runner reviews — so those cells stay blank rather than guess. What is below comes straight from the listing and from reviewers' own words. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Hiking area featuring a historical site and Christmas lights.
What runners say about Cannonsburgh Trailhead
“This place is beautiful and very nice for special occasions.”
It's easy to park there, and I didn't feel trapped to walking in a small area. Nice scenery, too; walking in the lush (from April to October) undeveloped floodplains in a densely populated area and through box culverts provided a unique experience.
Awesome sauce! Kewl place the kids even enjoyed the history! Nice park and trail next to it for picnicing!!!
Interesting place, right on the Greenway, so we stopped and did the self-guided tour.
Great little glimpse into history of our local town. Also connection to Greenway trails is a huge plus.
