Confirmed from Carolyn Holmberg Preserve at Rock Creek Farm's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
This natural area offers several wheelchair-accessible trails, plus fishing access & picnic tables.
What runners say about Carolyn Holmberg Preserve at Rock Creek Farm
“Carolyn Holmberg Preserve is a quite, beautiful place to go and walk your thoughts away or give clarity to the ones you have.”
“This was a beautiful and serene place, especially super early weekdays when there's noticably less traffic.”
“Easy trail, awesome views close to Broomfield.”
Definitely a cool little place to grab a sunset and stroll the lake. It connects to other trails which I didn't explore but seemed nice
Enjoyed riding my mountain bike on the trails in the Carolyn Holmberg Preserve. When time is short during the work week, it is nice to get out on this trail. Cycled around the northern edge and the sky was near perfect on the first day of Winter of 2020, and it was 29F, yet felt like it was in the mid 40'sF.
This is a beautiful park that is just a quick drive from the Louisville Tech Center. It is such a delightful treat to be able to leave the office at lunch time and come take a walk around this lake.
A serene, delightful place filled with more prairie dogs that I think I have seen in one place in my life, hundreds and hundreds of them, all with their little holes right beside the path. Admire their cuteness while being wary of them.
