Confirmed from Cayce Riverwalk, Phase 4 Access' own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

🏞️ beautiful scenery 8 mentions

“This is a beautiful scenic paved walk through the woods along the congaree River.”

🌾 quiet & peaceful 4 mentions

“Very peaceful, keep an eye out for our SC wildlife!”

This is a beautiful scenic paved walk through the woods along the congaree River. Watch out for the alligators and the snakes as this is a very wooded scenic route. It's ever-changing. Unfortunately there are no bathrooms out here.

★★★★★ — Charlie , Feb 2019

One of my all time favorite trails! Quiet and clean, well maintained and peaceful. There's plenty of different trails so you can really customize how long you want to walk for. We usually do the 2.9 mile loop and it's perfect!

★★★★★ — Mia , Apr 2023

Great place for a leisurely stroll. You can go up to 8 miles or as little as you'd like. The 8 miles walk is one way however unless you turn around and retrace for a longer walk. Wide Concrete path enables cycling and a trip free walk. The river and creek are beautiful.

★★★★★ — Joe , Nov 2020

Great place to walk or ride your bike! Shady so the super hot days don't seem so hot. Quiet too. I go there every Thursday evening! 🙂

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.
