Confirmed from Cedar Stone Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Well-maintained park hosting turf baseball matches and featuring a playground.
What runners say about Cedar Stone Park
“I saw my nephew play baseball at this Park…It is a very beautiful and clean Park…It’s also very easy to find and in a great location!”
Great, new park with super playground. One of the larger ones in the area. Very nice ball fields with artificial turf. Nice bathrooms and facilities at the ballpark. Just need walking trails to make it even better.
Great new playground with lots of cool play equipment for kids. I really like the walking track around the playground, where parents can get exercise as they keep an eye in their kids. Also, plenty of benches to sit. I like how the restrooms are conveniently located next to the playground.
This is a park my son really enjoys! It has plenty of space to run and play, and there’s always something to keep him entertained. Just a heads-up—there isn’t much shade, so it’s best to visit on a cloudy day or later in the afternoon when the sun isn’t as intense.

The practical stuff
- AccessPosted hours — posted hours below; park gates sometimes close earlier than the listing says
- DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
- ShadeRunners describe real tree cover here — it makes a summer afternoon workable
- LightingRunners report lights on the path — useful for pre-dawn and after-work miles. Lighting and opening hours are separate things, so check both.
