Confirmed from Cedarburg Bog State Natural Area's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Wetland reserve and hiking area with boardwalk paths through cedar woods and around a lake.

“The trail here is well-maintained.”
“The short walk on the board walk into Watt's Lake takes you into a beautiful and serene lake.”
There are two parking areas, one on the north end on WI-33 a bit east of County Y (about 10 parking spaces) and one on the south end on Cedar Sauk Rd (which I believe you can find on google maps by searching for “Mud Lake parking area.
Parked at the North lot off of Highway 33. Nice 1 hour walk on two pronged trail; one ending at a fishing pier on Watts Lake and the other prong leading further into the bog. Good informational signs along the way. Beware of poison ivy.
A very beautiful place. Not a whole lot of maintained trails but there is plenty of nature to see. There are 2 parking locations one at the North end and one at the South end but not a whole lot of room for many cars.
The short walk on the board walk into Watt's Lake takes you into a beautiful and serene lake. Along the way the maple beech forest giving way to towering white cedars, yellow birch ~roots intertwined with the hummocks of the swamp - and then tamarack at the waters edge is spectacular.
