Confirmed from Cheney Griffin Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

I really enjoyed my visit fishing. The park is dog friendly with plenty of room for parking. I would highly recommend for the whole family to fish, walk, feed the animals, or just lay out on the beach area by the water.

Nice rual park to hike and walk exploring nature. Used the stop as a stretching spot hoping to see gators, didn't see any but saw evidence of them, but it was a hot mid day afternoon.

The city of Bainbridge is doing extensive upgrades here and this place is absolutely beautiful. Great job landscapers. The landscape architect should get a raise. No I don't know who that person is, but I was passing through on my way to St. George Island and had to stop when I saw how pretty this spot was.

This place is amazing it has a lot of historical background and they keep it very clean it's a nice part for them to walk your animals or a family to go down and eat your dinner or lunch and lot of people go fishing down there but they both died out in the docks so it's a great place to visit

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.

The practical stuff

  • AccessPosted hours — posted hours below; park gates sometimes close earlier than the listing says
  • SurfaceMixed — more than one surface along the route, so check the segment you plan to run
  • DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
  • ShadeNot reported. Assume some of it is exposed and carry water in summer.
  • DogsWelcome, per reviewers. Leash rules vary by park — the trailhead sign is the authority.
