A wonderful escape! I missed it! I'm so glad I was able to go back to visit after all these years! So much has changed, but made it better! Camping, a bigger walking trail, the scenery is sculpted beautifully! So tranquil! Dog friendly (leashed). Family friendly, obviously. There are campgrounds now!
A great experience at the River festival this year here at Earle May Boat Basin park. Lots of food vendors that had excellent food (especially the taco truck). Great entertainment from A Few Miles South band. Other vendors were also onsite as well as festival rides available for the kids that purchased an armband.
S great place to walk your dog or play Disc golf. A really cool bike dirt track. You can launch a boat. You can also take a nice long shaded walk. Covered areas to have a picnic.
We had a Birthday 🎂 party for my 3 year old Grandson there. It's a great family environment. They have one of my favorite walking trails.
